Royal Ballet

Welcome October with its display of beautiful autumnal colours everywhere. Although it's becoming a little colder these days, there's still lots to do throughout this colourful month.

After a seven month absence, the full Royal Ballet Company is back on stage for a special live-streamed celebration performance on Friday 9 October at 19:30 (BST) which will be available to view from wherever you are in the world online.

The Company will be reunited with the orchestra of the Royal Opera House in a spectacular collection of ballet highlights. The comeback performance with more than seventy dancers will feature duets thanks to couples in bubbles. The company already has three real-life couples and it has created seven more bubbles to allow close contact.

The event will be broadcast live via Vimeo, priced at £16 per household and will be available for thirty days. Unless the rules change, there will be a specially invited and socially distanced audience that will include students and healthworkers.
